What is the file size limit?
There is a 25MB per-file cap on the client to keep browsers responsive. Most iPhone HEIC photos are 2–5MB, so this is rarely an issue.
Will the JPG lose quality?
JPG is a lossy format, but at 85–95% quality (the default range) the difference is invisible at normal viewing sizes. Choose 100% for archival.
Why convert from HEIC to JPG at all?
