Merge PDF Files — Combine Multiple PDFs Into One
Open the converterThis merge PDF tool combines two or more PDF files into a single document, fully in your browser. Pages stay in the exact order you added the files, no watermark is added, and the source PDFs never leave your device.
Merging PDFs is a daily-life task: combining a signed cover letter with a resume, stitching together several scanned receipts for an expense claim, joining a contract with its addenda, or compiling a multi-source report. Online tools that do this typically upload your documents to their servers — which is fine for marketing brochures, but not great for contracts, IDs, or anything sensitive.
This tool uses pdf-lib running entirely in the browser. Each input PDF is parsed locally, the pages are copied into a new document in order, and the merged file is offered as a download. No file size cap beyond the per-file 25MB limit, and no page-count limit beyond what your browser memory can handle.
For more advanced workflows — interleaving pages, reordering individual pages, or removing pages from a merged result — split the PDFs first using the split-PDF tool, rearrange the parts, then merge.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Merging is done entirely in your browser by pdf-lib. Nothing is sent to any server.
Will the output have a watermark?
No. The output is a clean PDF with no added text, logo, or banner.
In what order are pages combined?
Pages follow the order in which you added the source files to the converter. Drag and re-add files to change the order.
Is there a limit on the number of files?
No hard limit. Each input file is capped at 25MB. The merged total is only bounded by browser memory.
Does this preserve form fields and bookmarks?
Page content is preserved. Some advanced features like form fields or document-level bookmarks may not survive the merge, depending on the source PDFs.
