Rotate PDF — Rotate Every Page in Your Browser
Open the converterThis rotate PDF tool turns every page of a PDF by 90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise, or 180°, fully in your browser. Useful when a scanner produced upside-down pages or when a phone-shot document came out sideways.
Sideways PDFs are usually the byproduct of a scanner that did not detect orientation, or a phone scanning app that captured a document in landscape. The content is fine, the rotation metadata is just wrong. This tool fixes that by writing the correct page rotation into the PDF without re-rendering the content.
Because pages are not rasterized, text remains selectable, fonts stay embedded, and the file size barely changes. The rotation applies to every page; if you need per-page rotation, split the PDF first, rotate the individual pages, then merge them back together.
Pick the direction from the on-page controls — clockwise, counter-clockwise, or 180° flip. The output is a new PDF you can download directly, with the same name as the input plus a `-rotated` suffix.
Frequently asked questions
Is the PDF uploaded?
No. Rotation runs inside your browser with pdf-lib. The PDF stays local.
Does rotation lower quality?
No. The rotation is applied as PDF page metadata, not by re-rendering. Quality is identical to the source.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Not directly — every page is rotated by the same amount. For per-page rotation, split into individual pages first, rotate, then merge.
What rotations are supported?
90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise, and 180° flip.
Will the file size change?
Almost not at all. Rotation is a metadata change, not a content change.
